Can, or should the hall be saved?

The local consensus is that of course the hall should be saved, but there is some concern as to whether it can, or indeed if it is then how long can it survive after that.

The trustees of Meads (Eastbourne) Community Centre (MECC), all locals themselves, and with the evidence gathered by the Steering Group during 2023, believed that the hall did have a future. But how to back up their belief when applying for funding? They chose to commission an architectural appraisal.
