Meeting with Caroline Ansell, MP for Eastbourne and Willingdon, in Westminster today to discuss efforts to save the hall and possible funding options.
Robert and Mitch had a chance to quiz officials from the Community Ownership Fund at a meeting in the Palace of Westminster, along with local MP Caroline Ansell. As a possible source of funding for the extensive repairs and refurbishment needed at the hall, COF is almost ideally suited, although some aspects were a little unclear before the meeting. With plenty of time to discuss the queries that they had, the trustees came away feeling more inclined to pursue COF for a major part of the project.
