and Meads (Eastbourne) Community Centre

Thanks to the support, encouragement and dedication by the Meads community, we are pleased to announce that Meads (Eastbourne) Community Centre has been registered as a charity with the Charity Commission (1206558) with a view to taking over the responsibility for St. John’s Parish Hall, Meads, and running it as a community centre. The PCC of St. John’s Church welcomes this news as it continues its efforts to finalise the hand-over of a much loved Hall.

Both parties expect to reach a mutually acceptable agreement in the near future to secure the Hall for community activities for the benefit of its current and future users.
